Our annual festival pays tribute to the area's rich German heritage and supports scholarships for exchange students to Hagerstown's Sister City—Wesel, Germany. This exciting event is run by the nonprofit organization, the Augustoberfest Charitable Foundation.

Registration is from 8 a.m – 11 a.m., at the Augustoberfest entrance.  This is a fun and touristy walk open to all. Two walks are featured, a 6K and 10K.  The trails are on sidewalks and roadsides through the city of Hagerstown.  You will pass stately homes, churches built in the 1700 to 1800’s, the City Farmer’s Market, the historic Jonathan Hager House & Museum and Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, lovely parks, fountains, and the Hagerstown Cultural Trail.  Whether you are a Volksporter, or just looking for fitness and fun, come join the walk.
